Our new comprehensive college has an excellent faculty and staff who are available to assist you to receive financial assistance, register for classes, obtain part-time employment receive supplemental services to help you in the teaching/learning process, receive personal counseling, and to obtain a position in the world of work, or transfer to a four year university or college to earn a baccalaureate degree.

Our college provides flexibility for you to explore careers in many majors designed for transfer and over 75 different career fields designed to prepare you for jobs in the world of work. The college has a wide range of extra-curricular and intra-mural activities. We have approximately 30 different types of student life activities designed to serve students with a wide variety of backgrounds and interests We have excellent inter-collegiate athletic program and field teams in football, women's volleyball, men's and woman's basketball, baseball and women's softball.

Our Mission



Northland Community and Technical College is a two-year comprehensive college offering associate degrees, career programs, professional certificates, diplomas and certificates in over 50 different programs including Transfer Programs. Northland is fully accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.



Northland offers preparation for Transfer Programs and has agreements with nearby four-year institutions.



Northland can save you money. Tuition costs at Northland are lower than many other institutions in Minnesota. Compare the costs. At Northland the cost per credit is $72.00 for Minnesota and Manitoba residents, The exact rate for North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, residents is yet to be determined. Residents of Michigan, Missouri, and Nebraska are charged, $108.00 and all other students are charged, $144.00.



Northland offers new career opportunities. About half of the students who take courses for credit at Northland do so to prepare for employment or to acquire or upgrade skills for their current job.



Northland�s associate degrees are nationally recognized by professionals and universities as important measures of educational achievement. Many of the key careers of the 21st century require this certification of accomplishment including aviation maintenance technology, health careers, and a host of others.
