Position Overview

The Director of Charter Brokerage will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Vice President, Sales & Marketing to effectively build out the Company’s Aircraft Charter portfolio and business across the US Territory. This position will require the candidate to use an entrepreneurial approach to attract and secure charter revenue on empty/re-positioning legs for NICHOLAS AIR, as well as fulfillment of non-fleet requests. All candidates are encouraged to work out of the Company’s new state-of-the-art Oxford, MS headquarters.

Competitive candidates will have a proven track record of self-starting, ability to articulate the program to a wealthy clientele, exceptional experience in the jet charter and charter brokerage verticals and meet sales objectives and quotas.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships to effectively sell jet card empty leg availability to private jet brokers, operators, and direct to individuals
  • Create and manage empty leg portfolio from the company, advertising those empty legs to available platforms daily, and disseminating this portfolio to Nicholas Air Members
  • Prepare flight quotes and comparisons as needed for prospects and management review
  • Participate in sales efforts, including marketing and customer service activities
  • Leverage current and former relationships in order to close new Charter business for the company
  • Work directly with Nicholas Air Scheduling departing in procuring supplemental lift for Member trips as needed
  • All other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales & Marketing

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Competitive candidates will have 2 years of Aircraft Charter Sales Experience
  • Competitive candidates will have 5 years of luxury or high net worth Customer Service Experience
  • Customer Relationship Management software experience required; Salesforce experience preferred
  • Highly effective public speaker and verbal communicator
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiator and innate ability to negotiate with High Net Work clients and Executives
  • Positive and engaging individual who understands the need to meet both individual and team goals
