Qualifications
MINIMUM: High School diploma or equivalent. Must provide own tools as required on company tool list. Language (read, write, speak, and understand English) Minimum five (5) or more years experience on commercial aircraft. PREFERRED: FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate or FAA Airframe certificate. PREFERRED: Two (2) or more years experience with fuel tank maintenance, sealant removal, sealant application, leak detection, bladder removal, fuel quantity etc…
Duties / Responsibilities
The fuel tank maintenance mechanic is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance and/or repairs within estimated time and within FAA, NAAS and customer standards of quality. This includes organizing his/her work plan in an efficient and resourceful manner. Accomplish tasks as set forth by the Supervisor. Must perform required duties and responsibilities as stated per NAAS Repair Station Manual. Must be available 24/7 for on call maintenance and must be able to respond to the job site within two hours.
