Avionics Technician with experience installing, troubleshooting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing, corporate business, and general aviation aircraft avionics equipment.

Qualifications
• 4+ Years of recent avionics experience
• Must have experience on General Aviation and Corporate Aircraft
• Previous experience with the following manufacturers preferred: Garmin, S-Tec, Aspen, Honeywell, Collins, Avidyne, Bendix/King, PS Engineering
• Bench experience perfered
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics
• Ability to wear all required safety equipment, to walk, sit, climb, crawl, twist, bend, gain entry to, work in confined areas, and work from stands and ladders
• Tools necessary to complete duties
• Maintenance of work station in compliance with safety, fire, and security requirements
• Effective oral/written communication skills
• Ability to complete job documentation
• Ability to routinely meet budgeted job/production schedule/hours
• Self Motivated individual that needs little or no supervision
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
• Ability to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screening
Duties / Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot problems during routine aircraft inspections
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on off-aircraft components
• Perform full avionic installs on corporate and general aviation aircraft
• Fabricate and assemble parts/components per applicable technical data
• System operations and troubleshooting
• Perform wire routings, wire terminations, soldering,
• Perform engine removal and installation
• Utilize proper techniques and procedures, and assist/train others
• Other duties as required by Director of Maintenance/Supervisor
