Summary
Reliance Aerotech Services is seeking a high quality applicant for a Component Repair Production Manager position on behalf of a client company located in Milwaukee, WI.
This position directs and coordinates all activities necessary for the efficient delivery of company products, utilizing the knowledge of product technology, procedures and equipment capabilities, and customer needs. The Component Repair Production Manager is responsible to achieve short & long delivery and customer service objectives through proper utilization of time, personnel, equipment, and customer relationships.
Additional duties include: facilitating real time resolution of complex issues and problems; ensuring Health, Safety & Environmental compliance; coordinating, utilizing and implementing new processes by utilizing leadership skills and participative management.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing the company‘s managed repair workflow to different repair stations and OEM‘s
- Communication with the various FAA repair stations and OEMS ensuring timely delivery of repair orders
- Internal communications to ensure customer repairs are delivered in a timely manner and providing solutions for unforeseen delays.
- Developing existing and new relationships with repair facilities to increase company capability.
- Reviewing open work orders and negotiating with the repair facilities to reduce costs and offer material planning solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and oversight to employees working repairs
Requirements:
- Prior component repair management or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of aircraft and component IPC/IPL
- Prior experience in working FAA repair station or back-shop component level repairs
- C-130, F-16, P3 component repair/overhaul and detail part knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of FAR‘s and experience working with the FAA is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years related experience preferred.
