Description:
****You will be required to purchase three uniforms at an estimated total price of $150-$265.  The cost will vary depending on your size and the amount will be deducted from your paycheck in two installments.****

In a team oriented work environment, under moderate supervision, performs a variety of structural assembly operations in a production department.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
1. Performs assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts/assembly meet requirements.
2. Rivets structural assemblies and parts using all tools required to do the job. Example: portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, all types of rivets, etc.
3. Reads work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size and hole pattern for rivets.
4. Checks all work and ensures a defective free assembly prior to final inspection.
5. Maintains and uses all logs and records. Example: MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, etc.
6. Aligns and assembles parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.
7. Maintains a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5s program and complies with all safety regulations.
8. Works under moderate supervision on duties and tasks.

Education:
High School graduate or GED.

Requires ability to read and interpret basic blueprints. Must have one year related structural assembly experience. Read and interpret 6 inch scale. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
