Tiger Aircraft, LLC

Tiger Aircraft LLC was formed to revive, enhance, and build one of the most celebrated airplane designs in general aviation history--the "Tiger." Today\nulls Tigers are built in a new facility in Martinsburg, WV constructed specially to build the planes. Tiger Aircraft is dedicated to upholding the Tiger tradition: the most exhilarating, agile, and dependable fixed-gear planes available in general aviation.

The New Tiger

Plane & Pilot Magazine called it "The most exciting airplane in its class." With a top speed of 148 knots and incredibly responsive handling, the Tiger is an airplane that lives up to its billing.

Since its first production in 1975, the Tiger has become a legend among general aviation pilots who love its speed and performance. Now back and fully updated for a new generation, The Tiger is turning heads again.

The Tiger\nulls superior performance comes largely from its unique construction. The body of the plane is a rock-solid cage of super-strong aluminum honeycomb. The wings, fuselage, and all control surfaces are aluminum bonded, for a design that is four to six times stronger than riveted construction. This provides a level of stability not usually found in general aviation production planes--and a reliability that led Aviation Consumer to rate the Tiger first in its class for safety. Flying Magazine has also taken notice, saying, "While it\nulls impossible to ignore the fun and style of the Tiger, at heart it\nulls a solid and honest airplane."

Building on its storied heritage of rock-solid construction and unmatched performance, the new Tiger is packed with a host of unique features. The canopy slides back to reveal imported leather seats, a machined aluminum instrument panel loaded with a full stack of Garmin avionics, and leather-wrapped yokes. To complete the package, every new Tiger comes complete with advanced corrosion-proofing, free flight training and the spinner-to-tail Total Customer Care package.
