Aviation Systems International, Inc.
Aviation Systems International, Inc. (ASI) was founded in 1973. ASI provides rotable spares, avionics, instruments, engines and engine parts and related services to the commercial aviation markets throughout the world. ASI\nulls customer base includes approximately 800 customers in more than 60 countries.
Our office and warehouse operations are comprised of over 51,000 square feet of modern facilities and state-of-the-art telecommunications which enable us to immediately respond to our worldwide base of valued customers. ASI\nulls management team consists of dedicated professionals, expert in all aspects of the aviation industry.
INVENTORY
ASI\nulls inventory consists of airframe parts and components for Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, and 777; Douglas DC8, DC9, DC10, MD11, MD80 and MD90; Airbus A300, A310, A319, A320 and A321; and Lockheed L1011 aircraft along with Pratt & Whitney JT3D, JT8D and JT9D; General Electric CF6; Rolls Royce RB211 and GE/SNECMA CFM56 engines and engine parts.
Inventory is constantly replenished through the acquisition of surplus inventories from airlines and manufacturers as well as through the purchase and dismantling of aircraft and engines.
TRACEABILITY
Traceability of all parts is established prior to purchase. AS parts are received into ASI\nulls inventory, complete traceability is reconfirmed. ASI then uses computerized document imaging to create a permanent record of all paperwork accompanying incoming parts. The resulting electronic files permit instant access to all documentation.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
ASI\nulls Quality Assurance program has been certified by the Airline Suppliers Association (ASA) as meeting both the ASA - 100 Quality System Standard as well as the requirements of FAA Advisory Circular 00-56. ASI is also a member in good standing of the Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (CASE) and maintains a drug free workplace in accordance with Florida\nulls "zero tolerance" statutory standard.
ASSET MANAGEMENT
Asset management is another service that ASI provides to it\nulls customers. Asset management permits customers to concentrate on their core businesses while ASI manages their engines, aircraft and rotating spare parts through both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Customers benefit from the knowledge of ASI\nulls expert personnel; ASI\nulls close proximity to numerous FAA/JAA-approved repair facilities; significant discounts resulting from the high volume of business that ASI conducts with these repair facilities and ASI\nulls vast rotable exchange pool.
ASI provides on-site supervision of overhaul and repair work and can rapidly source from it\nulls own inventory parts required for both exchange and outright sale. ASI will also control, audit and report to our customers on costs incurred as the workscope progresses.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ASI\nullS FIRST PRIORITY.
