Aurora Aviation
Aurora Aviation is a full service Aviation Fixed Operator (FBO) at Aurora State Airport. We operate an FAA Part 141 flight training school, aircraft charter service, and aircraft rental service. Aurora also provides storage, fuel, repairs, pilot supplies, and brokers general aviation aircraft. Aurora Aviation is a licensed Cessna Aircraft Pilot Center.
The Aurora State Airport is the third busiest in Oregon, based on total operations per year. The airport is owned by the State of Oregon and is one of the best maintained airports in the Northwest. Aurora has no control tower and is only used for general aviation operations. The lighted run-way was recently extended to 5000 feet.
The Aurora Aviation facility is the finest at the Aurora Airport and contains a pilot lounge, class rooms, AV facilities, flight planning area, and cafeteria. We maintain a fleet of single and multi-engine aircraft for rental and flight instruction.
