AGROTORS was founded in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania in 1955 by pilot and Entomologist, Dr. Carrol M. Voss. He was first involved with Gypsy Moth spraying by helicopter in 1949 in Cape Code, Massachusetts.
AGROTORS, still located at its original Gettysburg site, maintains its long tradition of expertise in providing utility-type helicopter operations both domestically and internationally.
Agrotors began developing its values in 1955. Since then, those values have developed into our company mission that we now call "Excellence Through Commitment". Our modern 15,000 square foot maintenance facility emphasizes the maintenance side of that commitment. We have challenged ourselves to be an industry leader in providing safe, reliable helicopters for our crews and our customers.
In addition to aerial application, AGROTORS provides expertise and quality services in the areas of Powerline/Utilities, Forestry, forest fire frighting and construction.
AGROTORS continues to demonstrate its excellence through commitment by maintaining its equipment safely, flying its helicopters responsibly, and supporting its people and equipment conscientiously.
